King's App

Welcome to the King's App

The King’s App has been designed specifically for parents; a central communications platform to help you connect with the school.

The King’s App can be customised to suit your child's year level, sub-school and co-curricular activities, allowing us to send you notifications specific to your child. We can also show you targeted calendar events, website links and contact details.

Other tools available for the whole school include logging student absences, important notifications and updates, access to the latest King’s Community eNewsletter, and shortcuts through to SEQTA and Qkr – all without leaving the King’s App.

The King's App is available to download from the iOS App Store for iPhone and iPad and Google Play for Android devices.

Frequently Asked Questions

Setting your app subscriptions is quick and easy! Simply follow the below steps:

  1. On the home page of the app, tap 'More'.
  2. Select 'Settings', then 'Subscriptions'.
  3. Open the relevant sub-school tag group and select or de-select the tags relevant to your family.
  4. Once you have finished selecting your tags, tap outside of the tags list and use the 'Back' arrow to return to the home page.

While the King’s Calendar is not searchable within the app itself, iPhone users who merge the calendar to their device can use their phone’s calendar search function to quickly find specific events.

We are currently working closely with our App Developers to implement this feature for Android devices, as well.

To merge the King's Calendar with your device, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Open the King’s App and go to 'More > Settings > Subscriptions'. Here, you can subscribe to your child’s classroom calendar to receive targeted events and notifications.
  2. Return to the Home page of the King’s App and select 'Calendar'.
  3. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner, then choose 'Subscribe to Calendar'. This will open your device’s default calendar app.
  4. Select 'Subscribe' and customise the calendar view to your preferences.
  5. Finally, open your device’s calendar and try searching for an event to confirm the subscription is working.

The subscribed calendar is a live feed and will update automatically as new information is added by the school.

King’s uses a single sign-on system across connected school platforms. This means the same login details are used for the King’s App, SEQTA and other school platforms.

If you are unable to access the King’s App using your usual email address and password, please follow the steps below to log in using a One-Time Token.

  1. Open the King’s App login screen and scroll down to the One-Time Token option at the bottom of the page.

  2. Enter the email address you use to connect with the school, then select Send Passcode.

  3. Check your email for a temporary six-digit passcode. This will be sent to the email address linked to your school record (please also check your spam/junk folder). The email should arrive within 10 minutes.

  4. Return to the King’s App and enter this temporary passcode to complete your login.

If you are still unable to access the app using this method, please contact App Support using the form below for further assistance.
