Danika’s a love of dance and performing began at a very early age where she trained in all genres including Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro, Musical Theatre, Tap, Singing and many more.

She entered the professional industry in 2016 at the age of 10, playing Marta in the national tour of the musical, ‘The Sound of Music’. In 2017, Danika was selected as the lead dancer for the opening ceremony of the International Astronautical Congress. Danika continued to regularly compete at dance competitions, where she won a number of national titles and was selected into Australia’s Dream Dance Creative Elite Team.

Danika has recently completed her Stage 1 and Stage 2 in SACE Dance, Certificate III in Dance and Certificate III in Fitness, and completed the Acrobatic Arts Teaching Qualification Course in 2022, alongside Seniors in First Aid.

As Danika continues to grow and develop as a dancer herself, she also shares her love of dance through choreographing performance pieces, coaching classes, solo lessons and running workshops to the younger generation, with her work producing award-winning performances.

Danika is thrilled to be apart of the King’s Dance Coaching Team in 2024!

From a young age, Kira immersed herself in calisthenics, gymnastics and ballet. Growing up in a family that owned a fitness centre, she discovered the world of sport aerobics in the ‘90s, watching adults compete.

Kira’s sport aerobics journey began in primary school, starting in Year 6. Over the years, she actively competed in various state and national championships, making a mark in the athletic competition scene. Internationally, Kira achieved success, participating in eight world championships and earning one gold, two silver and one bronze in the sport aerobics trio section - testaments to her dedication and passion.

In 2010, she founded Aeroblitz, a thriving club where she coached sport aerobics and fitness. The most rewarding part for Kira is witnessing the profound development of athletes, showcasing their commitment and hard work.

Kira’s leadership reached new heights when she became the Australian Team Captain in 2018, and later the Australian Team Coach in 2022. These roles allowed her to guide and inspire Australian teams on the international stage, reflecting years of dedication to her beloved sport.

With Kira’s children attending King’s, she is thrilled to impart her passion and knowledge by coaching the King’s Sport Aerobics teams. For Kira, coaching is more than a profession - it’s a passion. Her greatest joy lies in being a part of the growth and success of the athletes she has the privilege to mentor.

Chloe was a student at King’s from 1997 until she graduated from Year 12 in 2010. Her journey in dance began at the age of two, initially exploring Calisthenics for 13 years. Transitioning from her 'Cali' days in her early-high school years, Chloe found a new love in cheerleading and began competing in All Star Cheerleading events, achieving numerous state and national titles in Cheer, Pom, Hip Hop, and Jazz.

In 2012, Chloe joined the King’s Coaching Team, where she coached multiple teams in various genres such as Cheer, Aerobics, Lyrical and Jazz, winning several state and national competitions. It was here that Chloe’s coaching venture truly commenced, where she continued to teach at various dance and cheer studios, with Pom emerging as her primary strength and passion.

Currently is currently on leave from her role as a classroom teacher at Greenwith Primary School, to take care of her one-year-old daughter, Elsie; however, she remains actively involved by volunteering her time at Greenwith to choreograph and coach the Greenwith Primary School Pom Team.

Chloe has a great passion for teaching and coaching and is looking forward to coaching at King’s for what’s sure to be a successful 2024 dance season!
