Subject Overview
Students develop knowledge, skills and understanding of the nature, type and structure of the workplace.
They learn about the changing nature of the workplace, industry issues and ethics, career planning and work preparation.
Students can undertake learning in the workplace and develop and reflect on their capabilities, interests, and aspirations.
The subject may include the undertaking of vocational education and training (VET) as provided under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
Assessment
Stage 2 assessment is comprised of 70% school-based assessment which is externally moderated by the SACE Board and 30% external assessment which is externally marked by the SACE Board. Students demonstrate evidence of their learning through the following assessment types:

- Portfolio: Vocational Learning
- Workplace Reflection
70% School Based Assessment:
