Stage 2 subjects in Technology are all 20 credit, or full year, courses. All subjects ask that students have prior experience in a comparable Stage 1 subject; some may also require students to have achieved a C grade as a minimum. Students who are interested in completing a Stage 2 Technology subject, but do not meet this criteria, are encouraged to discuss this matter with the relevant teacher.

Stage 2 Technology subjects do not have exams. The 30% external assessment for all subjects is a Product or Investigation task. This task is completed with direction from the relevant teacher during the course.
