One Semester

Subject Overview

In Year 9 Drama, students develop their skills in voice production, movement, character interpretation and performance techniques, along with reflecting on their progress in regular journals. Students collaborate with others to present group performances and explore Playbuilding and scriptwriting to create original works.

Students also analyse scripts and the performances of others, using techniques of Realism to present a Duologue performance of a chosen script. Students reflect on their own creative works and those of others to develop their creative and critical thinking skills.
