Year 9 Teenage Boss

One Semester

Subject Overview

Have you ever wondered how you would go managing your family finances? Have you ever considered creating your own service or running a business? Then this course is for you.

You will look at the opportunity costs of deciding to spend your money on one thing as opposed to another. You will develop basic budgeting skills that will help you to manage your money both now and in the future.

You will develop an understanding of the market forces which drive prices up and down. You will also work on developing a creative solution to a real-world problem through establishing a small social enterprise.

Please note this subject can either be selected as a core subject or elective but not both.
