Subject Overview

In this course students explore how logical reasoning and critical thinking are essential skills for success in learning, decision-making, and everyday life. In this subject, students will develop their ability to analyse information, identify patterns, evaluate evidence, and construct logical arguments. Through a range of engaging problems and real-world scenarios, students will strengthen their deductive and analytical reasoning skills to make informed and well-supported decisions.

Students interested in future aptitude-based pathways, including assessments such as the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT), will also develop strategies for approaching complex reasoning tasks, deconstructing questions, and applying logical thinking under timed conditions.
